Live in Battersea in southwest London with partner. Bought a flat a couple of years ago having secured the mortgage on the basis of a well-paid job (CTO of a marketing company with a loyalty spin) that I binned after completing on the flat. Still not quite sure if that was really clever or really stupid.
Currently working part-time for the "House of Mouse" as a technical architect on a rights management project. This provides the funds for a project somewhat closer to my heart - writing comedy.
Current solo project is a TV sitcom which I'm hoping will prove my genius to a sceptical world. Previous attempts in this area include: co-writing a sitcom that got some positive feedback from the BBC and a meeting with Tiger Aspect but no actual money; co-writing a sketch show with a twist that got optioned by Tiger Aspect (500 quid split four ways for several hundred hours of work) and which Channel 4 waited four months before saying 'no' to; a high-concept format for a TV comedy that someone at Talkback really liked and has passed it to someone at Objective but which we've heard nothing about for several months.
Have done stand-up and improvised comedy in the past though not recently. However, this is soon to change with a new impro show which is due to start in September.
